Wet floral notes, spice, evergreen notes. Peppery in the middle along with dried cherry and a smokey pencil box finish. Firm but fine tannins.

Deep purple. Earthy nose with lots of black fruit notes. Taste has black pepper, good acid and moderate tannins. Full texture and red currant on the finish. Enjoyed with random leftovers and it held its own just fine.
