Not unpleasant, but unremarkable.

Decent but basic entry-level pinot. Wet earth, cocoa powder, some black cherry on the nose. Modest tannins, moderate acidity, 13.6% abv palate somewhat dominated by chocolate with some cherry again, tastes lees a bit on the finish. For a pinot this lacks charm and finesse though drinkability is decent. I think the price is more due to the fact that pinot is hard to grow than to the quality of the wine.

Bright berry/cherry notes, muted tannins. Great QPR for a Willamette pinot.
