Bottled in a 0,72-liter bottle. 13% alcohol. Tasted in Barbi Brunello 2010-1968 vertical next to 1968 Barbi Brunello. Surprisingly dense and dark, almost fully opaque syrupy-brown color. Rich, sweetish nose with lush aromas of dried figs and syrupy molasses, some cherry marmalade, light raisiny tones, a little bit of balsamic VA, a hint of Russian candy and a subtly buttery touch diacetyl. Bottom neck fill. PnP with three other 68's for 50th birthdays of Pam and Nigel. Beautiful color with much less browning than expected. Wonderful Tuscan sangio nose and a good bit of body left throughout the palette. This actually out-shined the 68 Biondi Santi Riserva.
