Even better than I remembered. Almost black and totally opaque. Didn't get too much on the nose. Very subtle fruit that opens up over time. I don't think this wine would be appreciated by neophytes as it seems that there isn't much there at first blush. Full bodied with a soft texture and nice finish. Started off pretty one-dimensional but opened up after an hour. Not sure if it's on its way up or down but it was a very pleasant drink over the course of three hours.

Deep, dark beautiful red sporting an explosive bouquet that improved over the three days it took me to drink this. Classic Bdx with obvious currant, plum, cigar, and pencil on the nose. Delightful balance of acidity and woodsiness on the palate with lush but restrained fruit make it an excellent food wine.
