Louis Gros Clos Vougeot

Pnp, puri tea color. Nose has typical matured burgundy aroma of tea leaves, dried forest, ripe plum, spice and hint of floral elements. Despite the color, it was an explosive experience on palate. Initial tightness blew off in 15mins. Surprisingly very concentrated, sweet fruits and ample acidity was still preserved in this 58 year-old wine. Blueberry, tea leaves, flowers and spice. Long finish with hint of dark fruits. A rare finding and happy that this wine is still alive ! …
