Westwood Chardonnay Sangiacomo Vineyard

Agree with previous note. Interesting honey/melon nose. A little non descript on the palate. medium finish.

I was perplexed by this Chardonnay. It was on my wine shop’s shelf and I hadn’t heard of it so decided to give it a try ($40). Initial impression on first opening is a sense of thinness, odd for a California Chardonnay. As the evening went on, the wine filled out somewhat.
