(18/20) Sharing my last bottle with @[1|19926344|Joël Vereycken]. Man, man, this is good. Super concentrated, super complex, super lingering. Aged on the lees for 11 months (with regular stirring during the first 4 months). Only 1300 bottles produced. Pronounced aromas of white peach, white grapefruit, passion fruit, overripe nectarine, lime, jasmine, biscuit, croissant dough, almond, flint, sea salt. Dry wine, high acidity, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 14% - €61,20 via Raf

Random wines tasting (MyCava, Pagrati) : The wine shows high intensity, very concentrated, citrus, crushed fruit, mineral, salty, still very tight, not giving away much, a few tea-like (?) herbal notes. The wine shows the same array of flavors, ripe citrus, tight, herbal again, salty, very mineral, its like taking a mouthful of sea water, unforgiving and unyielding as it is, full body, hgih acidity and long finish. New project on the Greek island Santorini by three talented winemakers to make an exquisite Assyrtiko from very old vines. This is their maiden vintage. The wine is made by whole-bunch pressing, fermentation in steel tanks at 20-21°C, aged on the lees for 11 months (with regular stirring during the first 4 months). In the palate the wine shows again high intensity, dense and pure, citrus, crunchy, mineral, high acidity, fresh green apple, long finish. Its very tight and austere.
