Medium and developing nose with green apples, lemon, bread, toast, bread dough, yogurt, rubber and wet stone. Medium taste of green apples, lemon, toast and wet stone. Medium (+) long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Chardonnay based Sekt. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well as an aperitif, or with fish or shellfish.

**Sparkling Friday** (16,5/20) Visiting Knewitz. This Chardonnay Brut Nature shows more concentration and more complexity than the Riesling Brut. The still wine was aged in oak barrels and the 36 months sur lattes bottle ageing also helps. I find the toasting in the oak a bit too high. Medium+ intense aromas of white peach, tangerine, lemon curd, pear, blossom, vanilla, smoke, almond, wet stone.
