Chalky, quite elegant, well rounded, ripe, a good wine for the vintage. Ready to drink, no need to wait for this. #PensionDanmark

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and fig. It tastes like blackberry, cranberry and vanilla. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

Red Black fruit - a mix. No distinct flavours. A bit petrolium in the nose. Average regardless CdR. Better day two though. Not a repurchase. Theis Vine

Deep purple colour. Nose of dark fruit and peat. Full blackberry and pepper on the tongue, with a medium length finish at the front of the mouth. Not a lot of complexity.

Balanced, somewhat polished, quite elegant with a vibrant core of fruit; this has nerve, will live for some time, extremely juicy and well made - lacking maybe only the true Southern charm.

Very nice CDR from a solid vintage. No more, no less. Not at all past its prime, at least IMHO.

For those of you buying this bottle through the LCBO in Ontario watch out for when the winery name is listed all on one line, it is terrible. You'll need to looks for bottles where the winery name is stacked on two lines (very hard to find). We returned a case.

This balances, and rebalances and does it again, between fruit and alcohol right on your tongue. An amazing wine.

Grapey, black fruited, new world nose. Similar on the palate, full of ripe fruits of all colors and a bit of chocolate on the finish. Not much structure but easy to enjoy, especially for $10. Zero reason to cellar this, drink up.

Kicked it up a few points since last time--a few months in the bottle has done it well. Elements working together a little better. A good QPR here.

I'm with Tourette -- very nice bottle for 10 bucks. Lightish, friendly and complicated. Good food wine and sipper.

Wow, what an interesting wine. Pop and poured, and initially it just dances on the tongue. Bright, almost effervescent. Great acidity, and a strange brew of wonderful flavors. Tea, herbs, sea salt, and red fruits. Thin in texture, but rich in flavor. Garagiste nailed it on this one. Wish I had bought more.

Basic, straightforward CdR. Peppery dark fruit with a meaty core. A tad hot for my taste on the back end but calmed down a bit with the Vinturi on night 1 and some air by night 2.

Past its youth-peak, so a faded, lighter feel, but what, I mean WHAT a vintage. Burnt, hazy strawberry, a graze of earth, trace demarara sugar, then tea leaves! A gradated, twisted feel as the ripe tannins and moderate, good, acidity combine with the starting-to-thin substance of the wine. It’s ageing in the direction of a red-fruited Rioja, yet is CdR in its herb and subtle chilli spice. An increasingly light, bitter-sweet yet gentle beauty, which will keep evolving – almost …
