Les Horees Bourgogne Bonheur Rosé

Exclusive tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL) : Of course market prices don’t make sense, but leaving that aside, this is a serious (and seriously good) rose. Medium+ intensity on the nose. Initially quite reductive, but with a bit of air this showed various shades of red fruit, rhubarb, winegum. Very juicy. Medium+ acidity, low tannins, long finish

Second time tasting this wine. Bright red fruit on nose but not altogether that expressive; very deep pink colour. Palate gives lots of raspberry, strawberry, framboise, high acidity, dry ++. Not much on the finish. Again slightly disappointing at this tasting and no better the next day. For me, not the most expressive or interesting wine. (@Fish Shop).

Very fruity on the nose, offering notes of strawberry-rhubarb compote, raspberry sorbet, peach-melba, watermelon, hints of basil and blooming red flowers. But mainly just ripe fruits. It’s medium-bodied with medium acidity and a tight and dry texture - not really tannic. Again, very fruity with notes of raspberry, dried strawberry, strawberry-rosehip compote, bitter red grapefruit and hints of salmiak. Mild chalky notes.
