back together after a sort of disjointed bottle a couple months back. nose is herbal with dark berries and dark cherry. medium bodied with moderate acidity. dark pinot fruits, stony crunch, and a mid length finish with faint tannin.

nose shows a bit of alcohol plus flowers, red berries, maple, chocolate, and pyrazines. medium bodied and polished. high toned alcohol. flavors of raspberry, strawberry, and gray stone. a little herbal bitterness on the back with mid grade tannic bite. good components and unique, but balance is not there tonight.

pours a medium density magenta and ruby color. lovely nose of sweet flowers, red berries, and vanilla. medium bodied, fresh, very polished and modern mouthfeel....yet nicely acidic and strongly mineral. raspberry and cherry flavors with a smidgen of molasses and milk chocolate. deep flavors and long finish with a fine tannic structure. really nice wine, well executed melding of new and old.
