Grippy, well structured character on the palate. It is powerful, fine tannins, but with a good texture and some polished, rather stony fruit. Lot of earthy and liqourice notes on the nose.

The nose starts out rather reticient with some dark cherry fruit, clove and a hint of leather. On the palate the wine is on the contrary pretty much alive. Fruit flavors of dark cherry, cassis and raspberry are backed by decently balanced (but no way high) acidity. Another bottle as good as expected, I really adore this wine.

Lovely wine. Opens up with very fruity aroma (cherries, some redcurrant), accompanied with spicy notes. Long finish, tannins nicely rounded, great balance.
