Geez. What an incredible wine. This is syrah on steroids. The PV makes the flavors of the syrah explode in your mouth. This may well be becoming my favorite Calcareous bottling. Great job by Justin Joyce of blending--who would think a BDX wine with a Rhone. Just incredible wine.

Wow. This is potentially one of the best blends I have ever had from Paso wines. It makes the syrah sooooo much better. Such an out of the box blend, but what character. I think this becoming my favorite Calcareous wine. Incredible blue fruit. Soft tannins. Just lovely wine.

Another great Calcareous syrah, this one with 14% petit verdot which makes it a deep dark robust wine. We’ve always thought that Paso Robles makes the best syrahs in Clifornia, this one certainly supports that.

Calcareous keeps making better and better wine. This is such an interesting combination, Syrah and petit verdot. Who would have thought, but very nice.

Tasted both at the winery and also had a bottle for dinner that night. Delicious blend. A one hour decant really improves it. Lovely stuff.
