Well beyond expectations. Not a variety that, for me, works well in hot climates. This is settled, mature, and in a good spot. Dark fruits, old wood, generic but done well.

Cork in perfect condition, if a little spongy, browning on the edges. Very mature cabernet right in the perfect drinking slot now. So much so that after an hour in the fridge, the last 1/4 of the bottle had gone so drink up now excellent wine right now

Clear dark garnet color. Fine rich wine with generous aromas and flavors of dark fruits, red soil, aromatic wood, dill, bay leaf, grilled thyme and sage. Full body, lingering finish.

This one has been sitting in the cellar for a while. It still has life in it. I imagine it'll be good until 2014 or beyond. Surprisingly elegant Aussie Cab with a lot of red fruit. Well balanced. A little acidic.

Drank in Traverse City with grilled burgers, potatoes & corn on the cob. Did not take detailed notes, but this was enjoyable and had nice dark fruit.

No nose. Was very flat on the taste with overpowering grape juice flavor.

Surprisingly good - I think I have a mental block when it comes to aussie reds because I am always expecting some full on hideous "Mc-blockbuster" that is high in alcohol and low in charm but this was very very good. Paid £7 for it ($14 USD) and was happy to see that it was lighter and more complex than I thought it would be. I would certainly buy this wine again and happily recommend it to people - inky …

15 bucks for this; very nice deal. Good dark color with a nose of dark fruit (currants) and mint. Rich in the mouth, with a good dose of tannin. Lacks a little in overall structure, but still outstanding. As someone else put it "it's like cabernet butter."

I have always thought this wine is a tremendous value. Color is dark garnet to the rim. Nose shows dark berry, eucalyptus, tar, and smoke. On the palate, juicy dark fruit is met by a minty note and a tarry bramble. Good to drink now, may mellow slightly with age. A great deal in new world Cabernet.

Wonderful Cabernet. Decanting for an hour or 2 would probably help as the wine just kept opening up throughout the night in the glass. Rich Cab fruit with excellent balance.

Nose of cedar with a hint of currant and vanilla. Blackberry and spice with a medium finish.

It flows from strong fruit to nice spice in a matter of seconds, I liked it.
