Peppery, and a little acidic. The zinfandel really shows through. Very decent wine for eight bucks. Another bottle two weeks later. A little thin on the first night. Really opened up on the second night and smoothed out a bit. Stands up well to dark chocolate. This wine needs a chance to air out,

I'd suck up as much of the 2010 inventory for Washington wines as you can. This wine shows well and the pedigree for the Yakima Valley with nice nose and medium body, lingers well and was great drinking alone or pairs well with winter comfort foods. Don't pass on this one as it's all in there at a great price for a table wine.
