Continues to be super fabulous with a long life ahead of it still. In retrospect and in light of the fact that this was my last bottle, I wish I had bought this particular wine by the case. Effenberg for the win! I think this might be my new favorite lieu-dit in Alsace. This particular cuvée at least shows beautifully chiseled acidity and minerality, hitting all of my happy riesling spots, and yet still so wonderfully balanced. It also has seemingly fantastic potential for improving with time (that being said, we'll see if I actually manage to hold on to any bottles because it is really quite enjoyable now in its youth).
