There are wines the world does not need. Trivial cabs from Argentina belong to this class of wines. This wine is not bad by the taste, it just doesn´t talk. You drink it and You forget it same moment. Left over is: You get drunk if You drink too much. No experience. Could use wodka to reach same.

Dark red color. Aromas and flavors of blackberry and raspberry jam, leather, cedar, and stone. Medium-bodied with full tannins. Not as heavy or concentrated as California cabs. Exemplary of cedar notes. From wine tasting at Total Wine & More.

Better than I remember previous vinatges being. Obvious and simple, but this is a decent easy drinking cabernet for the $10 deal I got. I like that it's not over extracted. Alcohol is in balance.

Similar to my last tasting, cherry, cassis, creamy, very light, lacking structure, heavy oak. Pass.

No fruit on the nose or flavors. Acidic and characterless.

In store tasting at Total Wines and More. Best and last of a horrific bunch of wine samples served today. Discernible Cabernet aromas and flavors. Shows some balance, has fruit and even some structure. Definitely drinkable!

Well, for being the "best red wine in the world," it's not so bad, especially for the US $12 I paid for it (list about US $22). :-) The "best red wine in the world" reference is to the fact that it was the 2018 Vinalies Internationales' 1st place winner in the red wine category, which caused all sorts of flurry in the Argentina press. I guess my palate is not up to that of the 130 sommeliers from 40 …
