A bit hot, with good fruit/acid balance. A little flabby, though, as it goes down, missing some taste element on the finish. As if there is a hole in it. But, overall, a nice wine.

Very thin for a Nickel & Nickel cab. It was "fine" but really lacked enough body and fullness to stand up to steak and heaver foods.

Went wonderfully with our assortment of appetizers - everything from mozzarella and grape tomatoes; charcuterie platter, grilled bacon, etc.
