Georg Albrecht Schneider Niersteiner Riesling trocken 'vom Kalk'

Honeysuckle and pear on the nose. A little sparkle on the tongue. A little minerally and acidic. Honeycomb. It starts out sweeter than expected, but gets drier as you go. We paired with short ribs and collard greens, and the acidity was great for cutting the fat of the ribs, and the sweetness of the sauce. A good table wine - I wouldn't be interested in just sipping this on its own.
