Decanted and back into the bottle an hour before - Deep, opaque mahogany in the glass. Mild cigar box, a bit of leather, dehydrated cherry, walnut, some dark floral lift, smoke and tar, vanilla, and black pepper on the nose. Palate carries over, with bracing acidity and nice body. Spicy finish, with decent length. Drinks pretty young. Tertiary notes are coming through lightly at the front, but still pretty heavily fruit and wood in the middle. I like it, but …

Corked. Seemed like a solid wine. Will try to get another bottle.

Dark fruits on the nose with a hint of vanilla. Dark fruit forward with pepper on the finish. Very drinkable but relatively full bodied for a rioja and would do better aged longer.

Decanted 1 hour 15 minutes before HMC showed up. I enjoyed a small glass during that time. Lots of dark red/black fruit. Hard to tell it's Tempranillo. Feels more like a Napa cab. Little to no aged components yet. No leather, no earth, etc. Just fruity. 5 hours in and it's a black fruit nose, and black fruit palate with a few chalky tannins. It's quite good but....the alc is a bit upfront, even though it's only 14.5% and the …

Delicious modern Rioja. 100% Tempranillo from single vineyard. Black cherry, plum, spicy, espresso and chocolate notes. Full bodied.

Can confirm my note from May last year - a very balanced and well-made wine in between the lighter and darker side of Rioja. Drank over several days and continued to improve. Wish I had more.

Vin un peu trop boisé à mon goût. Sur les arômes de cerise et vanille. Peu complexe et demande a être décanté. Trop cher pour ce qu'il offre.

A very balanced and elegant Rioja. Powerfull without being heavy. Black berries, cherry, oak. Somewhere in between Alta 904 and Muga, and a good example of Spanish wine with the same qualities as the best from France and Italy.

Disappointed with this wine. I am hoping it is in a dumb phase as the fruit has really lost freshness and was very back ended, overly tannic and very rough. The earlier bottles were much much better.

Drank in Iberica Rich powerful nose full of black fruit and cherries. Rich creamy palate with a long length. It is drinking now if you decant for a couple of hours.
