August Kesseler, R Riesling Kabinett, Rheingau

Petrol and some kind of fruit like green melon on the nose - the petrol on the nose overtook the fruit and made it hard to nail down - and I’ve never written “petrol” on a tasting note before but it sure is there! A lighter, drier palette than expected with melon-y, green apple flavor. Still wound tight with a little too much acidity and a finish that falls flat too soon. Pretty decent QPR though!

With a touch of petrol on the nose. And a kiss of off dry. Tasty. Tastes like Pflaz Riesling.
