Millbrook Pinot Noir Proprietor's Special Reserve

Paper filtered and decanted leaving very light sediment and sparkly crystals in the filter and yielding a bright garnet liquor with significant fragrances of red fruit. This was a lovely soft wine with a palate coating brightness and a still distinctly fruity profile. Secondary flavors of mushrooms and plums emerge in a lasting finish. An intense wine with a very light mouth feel for all that.

Consumed on Christmas day with duck. A wonderful pinot with fresh red fruit and a long silky finish. This was an excellent bottle with virtually no sediment and a wonderful garnet color. Odors of raspberry and dark cherries followed by a bright mouthful of red and blue berries. Yum.
