4 hour slow ox and drank over 3 days. Coil tight and absolutely begs for food with red sauce. In fact, was tough to drink and hardly enjoyable without food. Would have been more appropriate to have held this for at least 5 more years.

Bright strawberry red. Somewhat muted nose of bright red berries and cedar. Medium body at most. Lovely acidity but just a little light all over. Not sure if time will make a difference, but I am going to suggest leaving this for at least a few years and seeing how it develops. Bright and fun to drink, yet I think not as rewarding as it might one day be.

Limpid coloured. From the start an intriguing nose of orange peel, smoke, cherries, flowers, mint, iron, strawberries, petrichor. On the palate without any heaviness with round and already integrated tannins. Refreshing acidity. Medium intense, but long finish. This is showing first maturity and brings a lot of fun. 5/15/19/10. I totally agree to Suckling and TWA (Monica Larner), both giving 98 points or 98+, which nevertheless is still conservative to me. With airation from the opened bottle adding power without …

An outstanding chianti that hits the right spots on tannins, furits and acidity. Perfect for that pizza and tomato based pastas.

A very slick Chianti. Lithe and pretty sangiovese but with layered and intriguing flavors. I didn't take any formal notes; just really enjoyed it. Will love to see how it develops but if you have multiple bottles definitely no harm in opening one now.

A beautiful and more modern Chianti Classico. Huge amounts of black fruits and a complexity which is layers deep with earth, cedar wood barrel, mushroom, and black cherry. The Finish is so long that I thought I was tasting the remnants of a left bank French Bordeaux. Wow !!!

(100% Sangiovese, 13.5% Alkohol, pH 3.36, 5.53g Säure, 26.55 g/l Trockenextrakt, 22 Monate in 500 Liter Tonneaux ausgebaut, 30% Neuholz) Hellere Farbe.
