Earth/stink, leather, and pepper on the nose. Still quite tannic for a wine of this age. Sour cherry, earth, and leather flavors. Solid, but nothing spectacular. Rustic.

Dallas 2nd Wednesday Group - July 2010 (Urbano's in Dallas, TX) : Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Garnet color in the glass, slightly dusty looking. Soft and attractive nose of pepper, graham crackers, leather and iron. Flavors of tart berries and cherries. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold. I might be inclined to actually hold this one. Somewhere around the 93+ mark for me.

Woodland Hills: Nice bricking, aged nose to it, slight barn; complex cherry, pot-pouri, tangy cherry mth, very integrated, tons of A’s! slightly swt, dry firm t’s; wow, very approachable-at peak now--showing it’s age, but a’s saving it for sure!

Orange brownish color at rims.Quite discreet nose with some loamy and animal aromas.Felt tiresome on the palate that just would not bloom tonite.Slightly roasted and loamy notes with some fading fruit and softened tannins.Lightbodied with short finish.Probably passing its peak.A little disappointing for 75€.There are still some features that reminds me of a great matured burgundy.

Past its prime. Got better in the glass with aeration, but not great

Not as lively as the last bottle. Fruit seemed to be fading a little. Still good with Spaghetti Bolognese.
