Weninger Blaufränkisch Saybritz Reserve Eisenberg

Pure and mineral style with sour cherry fruit, high acidity, low alcohol, very elegant and perfect as a summer red wine. Seems to be getting better integrated with age, but this bottle unfortunately showed some unpleasant refermentation. DIAM 6 cork. - 88 points

Better integrated than last bottle, still characterized by high acidity, sour cherry fruit, a very puristic Blaufränkisch style, but not as complex as some previous vintages (2011, 2012, 2013). A lovely summer red with low alcohol (12.5 abv) though - 88 points
