Not a bad effort for a second wine in a lesser vintage. Colour is dark red, black red core. Looks good. Nose and palate shoe dusty oak, savoury and spicy characters and some dark fruit. The wine is medium bodied and needs food. There is some acidity on the back palate, yet tannins are not strong. It is a pleasant little wine that lacks intensity and complexity but is quite drinkable.

Nose and palate are simple and black fruited with tobacco and pepper. Easy drinking. Not much depth. Light to medium-bodied structure. Finish is clean with some bitter tannins. Drink now with food.
