Getting carmelized, which helped add body and a nice extra bit of flavor!

Ok, let me start by saying I typically don't care for oaked white wines. Give me a heavy oaked Chard and I'll pass. This is different though. Medium straw color. Nose of smokey oak and mesquite. Good solid mouthfeel. Again, oak strong on the pallette but smoother than a typical Chard. Maybe it's the Semillon or Sauv Blanc but this is elegant. Sorry I don't get much else than the oak but I really like this. Maybe I'm just in …

An excellent Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc blend. Rich yellow color. Toasty citrus nose. Dry lemon citrus palate with tons of great creamy oak – but I wouldn’t call this an oak monster either. Very well balanced, reminds me of some of Marlborough’s top oaked Sauvignon Blancs. Long lasting finish. Priced at $10, this is a superb value.

The color was a pale straw and had a nose of fruity butterscotch with a little rubber. This was a dry wine with a good mouthfeel and a long creamy finish. Very good quality for this price.

It was good and a great way to kick off the evening. It was like any good crisp Sauv Blanc. This bottle was definitely not a 90. Don't get me wrong, it was a great vlaue at 12.00 a bottle. It was light and crisp and if you have to pour to a lot a folk, this would be a great bottle.

Enjoyable, and a good deal at 6 bucks a bottle... However, oak is present in every facet. The nose has nice pear/ citrus aromas with toasty oak; the palate has a large 'green' oak branch component, and the finish has some lingering oak but still maintains some acidity and fruit. Great if you like oak, just okay if not.

Bright golden, lemon color. Flavor of citrus and stone. Begins with a bright lemony snap and finishes with a touch of lush fruitiness.

Smooth with minerals and clear semillon, not as great as the last few bottles.

Complex and interesting this white is a favorite from year to year. This vintage seems to be a little less balanced and harmonious than in previous years but seems to come together better with some time to breathe. Still I would have preferred less Semillon than what I understand is a 50% Semillion and 50% Sauvignon Blanc blend. From reading other tasting notes I wonder about bottle variation too. 50+5+12+15+7=89

Almost equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Semillion with a little Viognier, this is not a wine that satisfies someone looking for a Sauvignon Blanc. More complex, richer and more perfumed.

Amazing blend, complex nose. Well balanced wine, with a nice creamy/waxy feel. Notes of faint hazelnut, and earthiness. Substantive wine that is still light on its feet. Crisp acidity with citrus component. I am very happy with this purchase, amazing qpr.

Even 85 is a pretty generous score. I had high expectations based on reviews/price combination. Just not my style. Very buttery. Can't get past the butter to find any other structure or flavors. I let it sit for a day thinking it might morph a bit, but no luck. Like the Beringer Chards, but I will look elsewhere for a SB.

Medicinal taste. Bottle does not seemed to be flawed but completely different from previous bottle. Nyquil?

Rich and exotic pear, peach, apricot, fig fruit....creamy hazelnut honey butter, toasted vanilla oak, lemon meringue. Shows nice cirtus acidity, as well as some truffle oil earthness. Very refreshing, and different! Love it! 93pts

CREAMY VANILLA, PEACHES, AND MELONS IN THE NOSE. RICH FRUIT, PEACHES AND CITRUS IN THE FLAVOR. NICE LEGS AND A MEDIUM LENGTH FINISH.
