Southold Farm + Cellar Basics of Life

I read great things about Southold Farm and decided to take a chance on this. I wish that I had read the review by ELYCOHN before. He is unfortunately spot on with his tasting note. This was not good.

Basics of life is basically unpleasant. You have to assume that Regan Meador, who is so capable of making interesting, thought provoking Texas wine, had to have muttered, “well it’s not our best.” This has been an unfortunate thing for me lately with Southold - where I feel like their experiments make it to market no matter.
