Bodegas Antonio Candela e Hijos Yecla Parcelica Chica

It’s got a bright plum color to it. The nose is a bit overly complex, but it’s a nice blend of fruit and earth. The flavor is actually quite nice, but a bit too much sweet fruit for my preference. There is some prune in there, which I like. It’s a good wine, but too simple and not earthy enough for what I like.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), prune and violet. It tastes like prune, mushroom, oak and medium toast. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
