Color is pale straw, clear/filtered. Nose has primarily citrus, orange, lemon, grapefruit, vanilla, pear, rather than the Alsace typicity (floral/lychee), but that's fine in my opinion, this is Columbia Valley. Palate showed more vanilla and citrus; medium acidity. This wine is medium+ body with a long finish. A slight bitterness in the finish, but not problematic. I really liked this wine. Pairs well with spicy food (as does the Alsace version). I was digging into home-made Tikka masala (you'd think …

Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor barely recognizable for the grape with just a hint of lychee nuts. Sweet impression with pleasant acidity. Drunk with a not very memorable meal at Yeti, an Indian restaurant in the pretty hamlet of Glen Ellen, Sonoma County, on a drizzly cold day. The wine matched the food.

Riesling-like in appearance and flavors. Overall, boring. Buy an Alsace Grwurztraminer if you want to get the lychee and floral characters of the grape. They are not present in this wine.

Light, slightly floral nose with a hint of melon. The hint of melon continues onto the palate, and this wine is demi-sec, just on the verge of being sweet. Very light perlanr on the front of the tongue that disappears as the wine is swallowed. Very nice with spinach sauteed with garlic, to which are added gnocchi and of fresh tomato along with fried chicken. Very nice.

Very simple. Nothing special, but pairs great with light dishes. Excellent value.

Great value in a well made, evenly balanced typically floral and spice Gewuz.

Consistent with 8/3/18 note. Possibly past prime but still great with Thai and Chinese.

PnP. A very pleasing Columbia Valley Gewurz, with a wonderful QPR at $7-8. Plenty of enticing floral and spice aromas. The palate showed white fruits, a touch of lime, some clove, and nicely balancing acidity -- with only a faint hint of being off-dry. Was a hit with the Choucroute. Should hold for another year.

Good, simple wine that pairs well with a variety of foods. Excellent value as a true "table wine".

Very light floral and lime notes on the nose. Full mouthfeel, with a sensation of sweetness on a demi sec finish. Absolute deliciousness, with Turkey breast, stuffing gravy, cranberry sauce and baby green beans. A very delightful wine!

To the nose, spice more than fruit with nutmeg, clove and cinnamon; red apple for fruit appears as it warms. On the palate, spice (same) still over fruit. Fruit of red apple, honey, slight papaya and slight green pear. Be aware not quite as crisp as Alsace or German - probably just past prime? - but consistent with prior vintages. Went well with Thai food.
