PnP. Dark ruby red with suspended sediment. Starts off so funky I suspected flawed wine from biological issue. With time the nose settles down, but the nose was still a earthy spice, herb followed by blackberry notes. On palate there were herbs and blackberry.

Had higher expectations. Good fruit nose with nice earth-tones; but lacking in flavor. A touch flat. Disappointed.

Limpid and transparent the 1999 terrerare exhibits good red tones with some notes of evolution in the rim of the glass. On the nose it shows some ripe red fruit, with notes of cinnamon and clove. On the mouth it is medium bodied with good acidity and length though a litle bit alcoholic on the finish.
