beautiful ruby colour. Deep. nose: robust, rich, bit stuffy; spice - cloves, cinnamon, star anise, all spice; cherries, plums, black cherries and black pepper. taste: soft tannins; medium (+) acidity; sweet fruit - plums, red cherries, black cherries; prunes; full body; some alcohol; cherries in chocoloate; long finish of chocolate and plum jam. well done.

Sehr expressiv, dunkle Fruechte (Blaubeere, Brombeere, Cassis), Schokolade, Tannine, gute Balance. Wesentlich "erwachsener" als ettliche Primitivo Fruchtbomben aus Italien, die ich schon getrunken habe, aber auch etwas teurer.

Tolle Frucht die klar im Vordergrund steht und den Wein zum Genusswein werden lässt. Einer der besten Zinfandel die ich bislang hatte.

A new world primitivo, mistakenly called Zinfandel. The classic primitivo zip, and an early attack on the palate. A hint of fruit. But zero depth or complexity. Taste it and it's gone. I wonder if the Cali terroirs or climate is somehow inherently unsuited for producing top.primitivos. In Italy, this would be 2 USD per liter table wine

Nice Zinfandel. Good with grilled meat.
