Château de Landure Minervois Cuvée de L'Abbe Fregouse

Good QPR - daily drinker which excels at the dinner table. Had with itialian food and it peformed well.

Nice wine definitely. Shows typical Minervois fruit and minerality, but in a style a bit lighter in body than what I usually like.

Nice dark purple color. Nose of rock, leather, chocolate, dried cherry. Tastes of bright dried red fruit...not cooked. Just enough tannins to create balance on the tongue. Enough acid to stimulate the juices. Nice stone and clay finish. I nice drinkable Roussillon that stimulates memories of summer evening dinners on a patio in Provence.

RUSSK WSW@Pablo's. Not the WOTN, but not bad. Nice balance, finishing a bit austere and a bit bitter. No need to buy again.
