Valdipiatta Pinot Nero Toscana IGT

Interesting dusty red color, with medium intensity and long legs. Really enjoyable nose with cherry syrup and vanilla. Fairly thin mouthfeel, with some sour fruit -- cherries, blueberry. Improved with time in the glass. Not a standout, but an enjoyable weeknight wine. Paired with balsamic glazed pork and root vegetables.
