Domaine Barmes-Buecher Mue

Vin très distinctif, beaucoup de caractère. Nez de clémentine et pétrole poiré venant du 60% de gewurtz, pulpe d’orange et amertume rappelant l’apérol spritz, très légèrement frizzante d’ailleurs. Vin gastronomique: à boire avec un plat thaï ou vietnamien. Un très bon accord avec le poulet au cari rouge et lait de coco.

Organic & biodynamic. 60% gewurztraminer & 40% pinot gris. I unfortunately wasn't able to jot down my observations as I would have liked but this is a vinous, smooth and beautifully balanced orange wine with just the right amount of bite to it. We enjoyed it as a pre-dinner drink but I imagine it would go amazingly well with a hunk of Comté cheese, for example.
