Beautifully ripened Montsant wine, a blend of 80 percent Samsó (Carinyena) and 20 percent Garnatxa Negra. Maturation: aged for fourteen months in Allier barriques, followed by a further twelve months refinement in the bottle before release. Color: deep cherry-red with some slight signs of evolution at the rim. Bouquet: attractive nose displaying intense aromas of ripe black fruit, kirsch liqueur, Mediterranean herbs, cedar and a hint of tobacco.
