Domaine Serge Laloue Sancerre Cuvée Réservée

A kick-ass bottle - excellent stuff... wish I had more (a common lament from me...) Plenty of life to go another 1-2 years.

Still great - yum.

Robe or gris très pâle, nez acacia et tilleul, à l'agitation des notes plus fruitées apparaissent : poire et surtout ananas. Bouche tendue et vive, l'ananas est très présent sur le milieu de bouche et une finale très florale rend ce vin très agréable. Note minérale (caillou). 84

Fresh nose - good ripeness and minerality; strong green streak on the palate. Refreshing but a little disappointing for the price.

Very enjoyable. Nice acidity, but a bit of roundness, not a characteristic I usually like in Sancerre, but I did in this one. Interested in trying the special cuvées....

I have waited too long to enter the notes but this was an excellent wine. Had only 1 bottle and sure wish I could find more of it. Everything you want from a Sancere and as soon as it was gone we wished there were more. If you can find it buy. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it during this time of year. It may even be better in the summer.

Subtle nose of jasmine and green apple. Flavors of citrus, spice and ever so slight vanilla. Coats the mouth nicely, with medium weight on the palate. Finish and flavors linger beautifully. Expert balance of acid and fruit - this is a great wine. Buying more.
