Nice and mellow, tannins seem tamed. It does not have a lot of fruit left on the palate.

Red fruit (cassis, cherry, raspberry) aromas along with hints of earth and herbs. The flavors match with red fruit, much stronger herbs (a bit of pyrazines), and a bit of jam towards the finish. Medium-bodied with light acid/tannins and a medium finish. A bit rough around the edges, but for the close-out $12 price I paid I have no complaints & am actually fairly impressed with the effort from an up-and-coming region/country.

ok, a bit dull.

This is a nice bottle of wine. Beautiful garnet color, good nose, albeit with some strong tannins on the mid-palate. Certainly a good relative value bottle. (3.5/5 stars)
