Corivin taste. Tasty but the oak monster strikes.

Nez gourmand sur les fruits noirs et les épices. De la matière en bouche, tanins présents qui commencent à se lisser. Il n'a pas bougé malgré 3 heures de carafage. Il mérite encore quelques années de garde.

way too much oak. I know some people will like this maybe some will even love this but not me.

One of my favorite vintages among the Gold Reserve bottles. The look is shiny cherry. The nose is very fresh with some chalks and hints of bell pepper. The tannins along with black fruits aromas keep on coming without drying out your mouth. Wonderful now or during the coming up 7 years. Better to decant the wine

The look is deep cherry, the nose is complex with thymne, cedars, gamey. The texture is made of nicely present small tannins. The acidity keeps the wines nicely crispy despite the power of the body. Great enjoyable wine with a meal

Winner in a blind tasting against a 2002 Pinot Noir from NZ, 2003 Chateau Plince Bordeaux and 2006 Old Vin Zin from California. A great daily drinker and excellent QPR (even at $25). 14% Quite a perfumed, serious nose. Good palate, with a nice freshness and good acidity balancing the ripe fruit. Very peppery spice on the finish.
