Domaine Nowack Champagne Les Arpents Rouges

Matchstick, slightly rubbery reduction, pronounced red fruits, white peach, fresh bread, white flowers, a funky sous-bois. A strong natural wine character. On the palate it is taut, some reduction, acid driven (in a good way), just enough plushness. Bags of personality.

Simply one of the better and most interesting young growers champagnes that I’ve had. More red fruit focused than most, but this is a great effort from a producer I need to drink more from

Very very natty, yeasty bitter. Hoping this was just an off bottle.
