Domaine Louis Magnin Vin de Savoie Arbin Vieilles Vignes

Likely to be a polarizing wine like so many cool climate reds these days. Deep hue with a fairly youthful appearance. Excellent clarity. Fairly discreet nose with some red fruit and violet and spicy notes. The palate is dominated by acidity and some fairly astringent tannins. The tannins unfortunately result in a fairly bitter finish as there isn't enough fruit and textural richness to balance the wine. Unlikely to improve
