Quite a rich and full Pinot Noir. Clumsy, but not completely without refinement. Spicy, intense, smooth, quite high acidity. Very good!

A rich garnet color and expansive cherry on the nose. Very unbalanced in the mouth with acid predominating over the fruit. Perhaps it needs more aging.

for some reason i like this more than i think i did initially. this has done well since i bought it. light ruby color. you can see your fingers through it, which is nice. spice, cherries, dried rose petals. also a note of red beets. medium+ acid, medium body. good tannic structure. ripe cherry fruit backed up with some toast, black pepper and rhubarb. rich and velvety. so balanced with a long finish.

14.5% alcohol. 9 months French oak barriques, 35% new. that smooth, soft, pinot nose is great in this wine. dirty cherry, spice notes with medium to high acidity and soft tannins rounded out by subtle oak. very smooth and a good qpr at $22. could last five years easy, but it's got a screw cap so i don't know.
