Just don’t get it. It’s too much of everything for my taste and over-priced for that reason. Too much vanilla, too rich and oaky, and detect too much alcohol.

Excellent. Drank over two hours. Beautiful nose of apples and pears. Great balance. Nice interlay of acidity and oak. Medium body. Long finish.

Big Chardonnay. I liked it. Voluptuous in all the right places, deft use of oak and plenty of acidity. Lingering tart finish. Bigger than my ideal, but that's what you get with these SVD Rochiolis. Plenty of life left.

A very rich, fruitful Chard. This wine has softened with age and the oak has integrated nicely. A touch of acid; however, the fruit and alcohol are very present. Tastes of lemon oil, papaya, melon and pine nuts.

APPLES AND BUTTERSCOTCH IN THE NOSE. CRISP CITRUS FLAVORS WITH GRAPEFRUIT. NICE COMPLEXITY AND A LONG FINISH.

Bright translucent sun yellow in color. A smokey component, maybe smoked or roasted nuts. There is a soft fruit behind the toast that is hard to distinguish. Maybe lemon lime or lilikoi or a mix of Hawaiian fruits. On the palate, a toasty oak component while integrated still makes it presence felt, maybe too much at this point for me. Wish this was more in the background. Viscous oily mouthfeel as the wine passes over the lips and onto the …

Too young - but you can see that it has a bright future ahead of it. A little too much baby fat right now.
