Pop and pour - smoked meat, Rhône-like nose. As noted by others this is softer and lighter than I recall of other vintages - curious to learn of the barrel program for this vs earlier vintages. Not bad and still a solid value, but will try the 17 or 18 shortly to gauge.

Lighter than I expected, but didn’t give it much time to open up. Silky smooth. Dark berries. Such an elegant Syrah!
