A month in Barolo: A visit with Vitorre Alessandria of Fratelli Alessandria : 1.2 hectares made of this wine, all done in stainless. The aromas are quite light, soft, but pretty. Palate is round, pure and soft in texture, and the fruit is pretty. Quite mellow acidity for a Barbera. More acid dials up on the finish, but there isn't a whole lot compelling here.
