Medium yellow in the glass. Surprisingly very fresh with no obvious aged elements. Nose lemons, white peach, wet stone, some white flowers and light integrated honey. Lively acidity with pretty good backbone for a 17 y.o. village wine. Clean linear style, some citrus and creaminess - almost chalky finish.

Hard to score. Not flawed but living dangerously. Not copper but bronze in colour. Not oxidised or dried out but strangely plump and almost sweet, with little acid or other structure remaining. Lugubrious. Those remaining 38 bottles recorded in cellartracker should be consumed NOW.

Initially, a reserved nose, then it evolves from buttery oak to ripe sweet melon and a touch of iron, (let it warm up a bit.) A medium-rich body with ample, balanced acidity on a long finish. Strong fruit. Beautifully made, in a very good place right now.

Just a touch over medium-bodied. Very light oaky/buttery flavor. Chalky. Pineapple, green apple and a bit of lemon. Good length on this. Not bad at all.

Two years onfrom my last tasting note this is still tight but there is also a weight of ripe, powerful fruit. Colour quite pale. Medium weight, intense and long.

Deep color. The nose is expressive, showing oak, orange blossom, citrus, pear, and a hint of minerals. This is medium full bodied on the palate, with very good concentration and wonderful finesse. The finish shows a nice mineral element and plenty of acidity. Medium plus length. I think this is still a bit tight, I would wait another year or two for this to really hit its peak.

Allot of citrus fruit such as lemon, green apples and hint of lime, acidity = very high. When the acid has setle down you will find hint of butter and a hint of a delicate oak. Excellent vintage and bottle, recommend to stock for some years! Drink 2015 - 2025

Deep straw with a touch of gold. Rather thick looking, a rich nectarine and citrus nose has a finishing touch of salinity. A bit blousy on the palate, there is a good defining acidity that coupled with the richness promises more than is delivered as the flavor depth just isn't there. Good only. (88)
