Mayhem & Co Shiraz Big Barrels Small Berries

Didn't enjoy this nearly as much as last time. A touch of unripeness was evident amongst the ripe fruit. Boysenberry jubey fruit, with some stemmy and green elements. A bit out of balance. Drink now.

Not a powerful nose, but quite rich. Reasonably dense, bright red/purple. Smooth tannin. Very approachable. Sweet shiraz fruit. Rich chocolatey in the middle. Ok length. Nose developed quite quickly, yet nicely with time in glass. Good value for price paid, especially for a boutique producer. Tannin and richness built after second glass. Initially went down fast, but then slowed down.
