Bit disappointed. Very primary cherry fruit, good acidity but no secondary flavors. Doesn’t appear to have import with bottle age. Bit pricey as well.

Followed over 8 hours open with no change in character. Almost fully opaque ruby color to the rim with clear, very slow legs and no sediment. This was very disappointing. The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral. It tastes like espresso. The body is light. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity. Definitely not worth the price.

I let this breathe 10 min in the glass to clear ether nose. It warmed up beautifully over an hour of drinking. Medium purplish ruby color. Raspberry, granite, steel and coconut evolved into blackberry, semi-sweet red licorice and potting soil on the nose. Greasy raspberry purée on the super smooth palate with terrific acidity and tongue-drying tannins. Soft, but firm tannins on medium finish. This is one of the best Pinots I’ve had in a long time.

In it’s prime, drink now. Nothing that additional age can do. Flavors are great, no tannins present and finishes ok, but not a lot of complexity.

Notes of vanilla bean, mineral, plum & fig fruit, lavender. Lush and full textured on the palate, sharpened with high-toned dark fruit. Good depth and acid, silky tannins, full finish. Well-balanced and elegant, not as big and rich as I expected. Excellent.

Beautiful Pinot. Nose took about 15 min to open up, but everything was awesome after that. Strawberry and concrete on the rich nose. Silky palate (beyond smooth). Firm tannins on medium finish. Everything was further improved with the duck this was paired with. Never tested such a perfect combination.

This is tasting really great right now. There is plum and dark cherry in the nose. It was decanted over an hour and while it tasted really good on first taste it continued to improve through and after dinner. Decanted 1 hour, and consumed over 5 hours. Showed at its best between hour 1 – 4. Nice blend of new world dark fruit & cinnamon and old world mustiness. Quintasential Red Hills style and terroir. Peaking now, but no hurry; will likely stay in this peak window through 2016.

Popped and poured one night, then finished the next night with chicken parmesan. Aroma of plum, and that comes through in the taste as well. Very fruit forward, with a bit of earthiness in it. A bit of acidity, as well as some drying tannins on the finish. This probably is going to enter its optimal window in a year or two, but this was my only bottle.
