Notiz erst nach 1-1,5 Wochen verfasst. Brauchte Anfangs Luft, war noch etwas sperrig. Später dann bzw. am zweiten und dritten Tag ein typischer reinsortiger, fetter Grenache, mit 15 % Vol. Dürfte sich langsam dem Höhepunkt (2023-2028?) nähern. Nicht unbedingt mein Fall und meine Rebsorte. 90-92 Punkte? Subjektiv um 90.

Nice to revisit this wine about a year after my previous one. Decanted to remove sediment. Open immediately with black raspberry, bay leaf, and smoky grilled bread. Focused attack of herb-infused black cherry and a medium charcoal finish. Plenty of mouth-coating acidity for freshness. Lovely representation of Gigondas. Drink or hold.

Decanted one hour. Intense aromas of spicy black cherry, oregano, basil, and anise immediately evident. The spice market elements intensified with air. Black cherry in the mouth supplemented by cough drop, and warming spices. Delivers a powerful punch on a medium-weight frame. Superb effort. Drink now or hold.

We love this producer. Julian Brechet has done such an outstanding job with Domaine des Bosquets. Lovely dark berry, black cherry, mocha, and cigar box aromas. Smooth tannins and nice acidity. Boysenberry, black cherry, plum, and mild pepper flavors. Just a wonderful Gigondas.

Belle grenache sur les fruits rouges, violette, un peu de poivre. Bouche vive et épicées. On ne sent pas trop l’alcool malgré les 15%. Boisé très fin et intégré. A des airs de Châteauneuf du Pape. Va certainement se bonifier au cours des 3-4 prochaines années, mais très bon et accessible maintenant avec un peu d’air.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of black raspberries, pepper and violets. Ripe, nicely textured fruit in the mouth with very good depth and length and well-integrated tannins. Silky and persitient on the palate. A delicious wine in the middle of its peak drinking period.
