Very nice gift. Very good wine. Not a great QPR for me though (too expensive).

No possible way to recognize this as a wine from France other than the label. Very CA in flavor profile, nice cherry flavors, lush on the palate, and a bit of a fruit bomb. Won't be buying any more french KB - interesting experiment but much better juice for the money available.

Decanted starting at 9 in the morning. Got really good at 6pm. Much more elegant than a Sonoma Pinot Noir. Has a nice terroir nose and complex finish. Went well with chicken.

Very good but I'm not sure I'd take this over a comparable French producer. Fun to try.

Surprised to see this opened on the table, let's check it out. Very dark. Ripe red fruit. Good mouthfeel. Probably not the greatest QPR but it was fun tasting.

This '20 'Pommard' from Kosta Browne is part of their Burgundy series, which I believe 2020 was the inaugural vintage. No official TNs as this is part of my review transferring from Vivino to CT. Notes from Vivino include, "tart cranberry, pomegranate, wet soil. Firm, grippy tannins with ultra high acidity." This needs a few more years in the cellar. I remember this being so tight and non-approachable until a few hours of ox. I scored this wine 92 points …

Typical Burgundy wine. It is not worth the price Kosta Browne wants for it. In fact, I bought a case of Burgundy from Wine Access that I would put side-by-side with this wine, at 13.89/bottle.
